SENIOR PRISON OFFICER WEDS AS THE STATE PRESIDENT GRACES THE OCCASION

[CLICK TO ENLARGE] Senior Assistant Commissioner of Prisons Ken Nkhoma with his Bride - Esther Chilenje - MPSenior Assistant Commissioner of Prisons Kennedy Nkhoma tied a matrimonial knot with the First Deputy Speaker of Malawi Parliament - Esther Mcheka Chilenje on Saturday 14th April, 2004 at St Columba Church (C.C.A.P) in Blantyre.

The wedding’s reception at the Comesa Hall was graced by Malawi’s State President His Excellency Dr. Bingu wa Mutharika who was the Guest of Honour.

 [CLICK TO ENLARGE] His Excellency the State President Greeting the BridegroomSpeaking at the wedding Dr. Mutharika advised Kennedy and Esther to love each other saying marriage comes from God. He thus urged the two to put God first in everything they do for the success of their marriage.

Also in attendance at the Reception were government officials, leaders of various political parties and church leaders.

Kennedy has three children from his late wife who died during delivery while Esther has two children from a divorced husband.[CLICK TO ENLARGE] Government Officials and Church Leaders with the Bridegroom and the Bride

Kennedy comes from Lilongwe District in the Central Region while Esther hails from Nsanje District in the Southern Region.
